About me
I’m Adam Quinn, a Psychotherapy Intern completing my Master’s degree in Psychotherapy. I currently work under the clinical supervision of a CRPO registered Psychotherapist where my practice is guided, supported, and reviewed to ensure ethical and effective care.
My path into counselling comes from a desire to sit with people in the real complexity of life where things are rarely neat, clear, or easily fixed. I’m especially passionate about supporting men, youth, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT). Rather than applying a single method, I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, goals, and pace.
At the centre of my work is the belief that meaningful change comes through a safe, honest, and practical relationship. I aim to create a grounded space where you can better understand what you’re facing and start moving things forward in a clear and manageable way. In particular, the focus is on gaining clarity, building confidence, and taking realistic steps that fit within the demands of everyday life.
